• Colour: A dark rainy blue with a purplish red sheen.

  • Shade: Yes, but it’s such a dark ink that it’s very difficult to see it in writing.
  • Sheen: A very overpowering purple/red sheen. In writing, this is mostly what is visible.
  • Shimmer: No.
• Watercolour Usage: It works really beautifully with water. Just a tiny drop of pure water will get a great light blue to come out. The sheen will not touch the edges of watered-down Baltic Memories.
• Harkens to Mind: Rain clouds, jewels, summertime, a lagoon under a dark starry night.
• Similar to: It’s really similar to another KWZ ink ‘Walks Over the Vistula’ and a less sheening version of Organics Studio Nitrogen.

Writing Sample

Verdict

When I added water to this, I almost fell in love. For artwork, this ink is completely gorgeous, but in writing it is all purple/red sheen. Too ballpoint-pen for me.
