Rohrer & Klingner Verdura

- Colour: A green green. When water is added, it lightens to a blue, but the shadows remain with yellow.
- Special Attributes:
- Shade: Yes, there is some.
- Sheen: None! And I like it that way with this ink.
- Shimmer: No.
- Water: I start to wonder if it ever really dries. Adding water makes a gorgeous blue wash. I love it for painting.
- Harkens to mind: Coastal forests, seaweed, emerald, greenery which grows in foggy places.
- Similar to: Much lighter than Moss (Faber-Castell) or Sherwood (Diamine), but too cool to compare to other greens in my arsenal. I haven’t really found one like it. It’s a cool green that isn’t teal, that’s pretty special.
- Expense (USD): $12/50ml as of 2022.
- Example: This Victorian photograph had a name at the bottom of it. Miss Gabrielle Ray. The writing is a piece of the ancient poem “The Song of Fionn.”

Verdict
It’s the greenest green I own and was the first green fountain pen ink I ever bought. I feel that I don’t even need other similar colours because this one is perfect. I have no problems with it at all.
