Wheel of the Year

♎︎22

22 October

Finishing Libra season with another picture of a deer friend of mine.

21 October

The Dahlias are not blooming, but they are growing.

20 October

Some elements of summer are still holding on. Also, 4 years today since our ship landed in New York City.

19 October

The other side of the fronds.

18 October

Fern spores! Aren’t they fascinating?

17 October

Calendula continuing on with the calendula thing.

16 October

Old Man’s Beard. We have so much usnea growing here it’s not even funny. Still haven’t seen a single mushroom though.

15 October

October rose.

14 October

Just more appreciation for how many ink drawings I did in these last two weeks. That’s 61 ink samples.

13 October

I’ve done more than 50 ink drawings in October. Finally, I went through every single one of my ink samples and did a drawing and writing sample for each one. Looks like Inktober will bleed in to Inkvember and Incember.

12 October

A bee in the fuchsia plant!

11 October

I have a feeling we will be without tomatoes this year. That’s alright, at least we got a nice plant to enjoy.

10 October

A few hydrangeas are still holding on to their brightness.

09 October

Autumn takes over.

08 October

A spiderweb on the autumn hydrangea.

07 October

Another of the beauties that hung out in the garden.

06 October

Some beautiful deer came through the garden today. I have learnt to share my plants with them.

05 October

The White Knights fuchsia is still a haven for the little hummingbirds.

04 October

I think I’ll give Inktober its own post.

03 October

I’m still loving the fun Nagel-esque style. Today it brings us yet another piece of fanart from The Sandman.

02 October

A funny (I think) take on 1980s Nagel and 1880s fashion. 100 years between fashion.

01 October

White Rabbits!

It is the first day of the best month of the year and I am feeling ready to do all of the artwork. No pressure to stick with it, though, right? I’ll make a masterpost of all these bits of art when I’m done with the month if all goes well.

30 September

There’s no wind in the greenhouse, so the dandelion thistle just becomes more and more interesting.

29 September

Amaranth is such a beautiful plant!

28 September

The Ethiopian Brown Chili Pepper plant is thinking about flowering, and I support that decision.

27 September

Some beautiful mums from my mum.

26 September

Busy couple of weeks here and a late start on my fun little journal posts. But let’s start the season off right with Lucy and the impressive tomato plant.
