• Colour: Pure green with red sheen and golden shimmer.
• Special Attributes:
  • Shade: Not an extreme amount, because of the sheen.
  • Sheen: Deep glorious red sheen.
  • Shimmer: Lots of gold shimmer.
• Watercolour Usage: It definitely reacts well to water! I was able to blur out any hard line I wanted to and I really appreciate that. It was hard to fade the ink all the way because water reactivated it. So don’t get it wet if you want it to last.
• Harkens to Mind: December holidays, tinsel, a winter forest of evergreen with sparkling twilight.
• Similar to: It’s very tempting to say it’s similar to Herbin’s Emeraud de Chivor–and it does have a sheen and shimmer similar, but it is definitely not teal like EDC. You couldn’t mistake them, really.
• Expense: It was $16/30ml in 2021, but in 2022 I can only find it on the Vinta Inks website for ₱599.00/30ml.
• Example: Carole Lombard being ethereally gorgeous. Perhaps I should have used her visage for Parol’s twin 2021 holiday colour ‘Karol.’

I adore this ink. I keep a Waterman Hémisphère inked up with it all the time and use it frequently.
