Pen BBS 226 June Pearl
- Colour: Unsaturated lavender with silver shimmer.
- Special Attributes:
- Shade: A lot of it!
- Sheen: None.
- Shimmer: Yes, silver.
- Watercolour Usage: It’s pretty stuck on once you put it down. Also, the pastel shade of it doesn’t allow it to bleed too much. It’s good for light detail work like the drawing I did, but I think it’s pretty safe in writing too. As much as non-specialised fountain pen inks can be anyway.
- Harkens to Mind: Moondust, vintage handkerchiefs, early spring
- Similar to: A lighter and glittery version of Diamine’s Amazing Amethyst.
- Expense: Unavailable (as far as I can see) as of 2022.
- Example: Clara Bow and her beautiful eyes.

Verdict
This purple is so delightful and, even though I usually prefer gold shimmer, this silver is perfect. I do not know the deal with Pen BBS, and I am starting to think all their inks are limited edition, because I can no longer find this. It’s a shame because I’d buy a bottle.
