Vinta Sandugo

- Colour: A brown-red with a load of green sheen.
- Special Attributes:
- Shade: Yes, some good shading.
- Sheen: So. Much. Green. Sheen.
- Shimmer: No.
- Watercolour Usage: This reacts pretty strongly to water. You can see around the jawline, I was trying to soften the lines and ended up with a bright red chin strap. The fading at the bottom took very little water. So this is not one to put on a postcard and then let sit out in the rainy mailbox.
- Harkens to Mind: Blood! It even has the green sheen. It’s incredible.
- Similar to: The closest I can see is that it’s a cooler and sheenier version of Ancient Copper by Diamine.
- Expense: $13.50/30ml as of 2022.
- Example: The fabulous Vincent Price.

Verdict
I adore this ink. I don’t think there’s a single Vinta ink that I dislike at this point. I’m not usually a huge fan of sheen in writing, but the green of this on top of that blood red-orange is gorgeous.
