Organics Studio Emily Dickinson Posie Pink
- Colour: Pretty much a perfect magenta.
- Special Attributes:
- Shade: A bit.
- Sheen: If you really lay it down there’s a bit of a golden sort of sheen. But I have never seen it in writing.
- Shimmer: None.
- Watercolour Usage: Surprisingly, for an Organics Studio ink, this one doesn’t bleed like the dickens (dickinson?), It does lighten nicely though if water is added when the ink is still wet.
- Harkens to Mind: Early 1990s lipstick, anemone, aster.
- Similar To: I’ve tried to find a decent replacement for this ink because it’s one of my favourites, but not many came close. Herbin Rose Cyclamen was a contender. Diamine Deep Magenta was too red. R&K Solferino was a bit too blue. It was a struggle until I found a store selling it once again.
- Expense: $13/55ml, but I haven’t found it anywhere as of 2024
- Example: What I believe is a Tancrède Dumas photograph from 1877 of an Egyptian woman.

Verdict
It’s my favourite pink ink. I searched high and low for a full bottle of the stuff and I’m glad to have a couple. I keep it inked in my Esterbrook Estie. I’m surprised I like it so much because I generally fall for shading inks, but this just looks so beautiful on paper that I fell in love just with the perfect colour.
