Lucy in the Foxgloves

I’ve been so worried about Lucy lately. She’s heavy on my mind, so I drew her in a proper portrait.

Our happiest moments are in the summertime when the foxgloves are huge and blooming and we’re sitting outside by the fire. She loves to lay in the grass and talk to the other dogs in the neighbourhood. She’s so much happier here than she ever was in Berlin or Prague, or even in the suburbs of Denver.

February 17th, 2010 is when I brought her home and we’ve had 12 years of fabulous times. I am happy with every day I get with her.
